AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): In compare to the previous year this year, Laxmi idol's business is down yet at Agartala due to massive prices of various items.

The number of purchasers are less this year whereas last year before 2 days of Laxmi puja heavy rushes were seen across markets.

Other commodities prices are also too high from vegetable to fruits.

Amidst low business there is no down of idols' prices this year and from idols to fruit, all shopkeepers have  learnt to issue GST for price hike.

One customer at Math Chowmuhani said, "Laxmi Devi is known as Goddess of Wealth but my salary is getting finished due to high price of Laxmi Puja's items".
