AMARPUR/ UDAIPUR, Aug 17 (TIWN): NDRF since the morning is searching for the deadbody of a 52 years old woman who jumped in river Gomati from Maharani Barrage.

The woman has been identified as Chino Rani Pal (52) allegedly in attempt to commit suicide jumped in river Gomati at Maharani.

The NDRF team also made a search for her on Wednesday evening.

Tension has been prevailed across the area. However, some local people gave witnesses that they saw her while jumping in the river amid heavy waves. 

Her family members alleged that her husband has died and she used to live in her maternal house, was suffering from mental disease.
