AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): The 12 hours strike called by Congress has so far completed peacefully on wednesday, the morning report said.
No unwanted incident has triggered violence due to the strike called by Congress in Tripura.
The strike was basically called against the national highway and railway blockade by Tripura Separatist tribal party IPFT.
The transport blockade has crippled the normal lives after Champakanagar. Recently police and IPFT youths came face to face during the agitation.
However, Congress was alleging both CPI-M and BJP Govt responsible behind this strike.
On Wednesday evening PCC Chief Birjit Sinha also thanked the people for observing a peaceful strike for long 12 hours.
