AGARTALA, July 11 (TIWN): Holding a press conference the Finance Minister Bhanulal Saha said after the cabinet meeting that the revised pay and pension will be received by the Govt employees from August month.

Tripura Govt has approved 3 rules of the following :

1. Tripura state civil service revised pay rule-2017
2. Tripura state civil service revised pension rule-2017
3. Amendment to the central civil service commutation of pension rules of 1981 in 2017.

Pensioners who are 80 they will also get the additional DA.

“For the Mid day scheme there are 11109 cook, helpers. They get Rs. 1000 per month. They salary has been hiked at 1500 that will cost 5.5 crores per year from July”, said Saha.

However, Saha claimed that the expense will be given fully by the state govt and Central Govt didn’t give approval for it.
