AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): State BJP in Tripura has demanded an 'equal pay' structure across the nation to mitigate the gap between State Govt & Central Govt Employees.
The issue was raised by Bharatiya Rajya Karmachari Sangh in a convention along with few more demands.
The members of the committee also demanded abolition of fixed pay system, that is unique in Tripura but no other state has such a system.
Apart from this, 7th pay commission demand was also raised by the opposition BJP.
The 7th pay commission has been the long cherished dream for all Govt employees in Tripura, but after 4th pay commission, no pay commission was implemented in Tripura under left front govt.
