KAMALPUR, July 1 (TIWN): Mystery prevailed over the identification of a rare kind of reptile at Debicharra area under the sub-division. The mystery tensed as none could identify that reptile if its a snake or anything else. Even the forest department remained reluctant about the matter.
According to the information, one Shobha Sinha, wife of Bimal Sinha of Debicharra first noticed the 28 inches long and thread-like reptile this morning around 6 am on their yard while sweeping. She informed her husband and villagers also gathered to see the rare animal. The interesting fact remained that on dry soil it coiled itself up into very small roll and it got little hood too. But nobody could tell for sure if that remained a snake or something else.
The forest department officials also could not throw any light on it.
