AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Indigenous Nationalist Party (INPT) held protest in front of North Gate at Astabol Stadium with various demands.

The issues they raised are :

1. To withdraw Citizenship Act 1955 Amendment Bill-2016 should be withdrawn,

2. To implement Indira Mujib International Accord (1971) immediately,

3. 32 % reservations to be implemented for ST's population in Tripura,

4. All backlog posts for SC/ ST should be filled up immediately,

5. 100 points roster should not be implemented,

6. Kokborok language should be introduced class-VIII,

7. To emplement 7th pay commission for the Govt Employees.
