AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Hapless stranded citizens plight turned miserable as the flood like situation is worsening at Agartala and some other places of the state.

Atleast 300 flood victims were reported from Agartala’s 3 separate places with the incessant rain observed in last few days.

Baldakhal, Srilankabosti areas have been affected mostly due to the rain.

Rescue operation team is already in action to control this emergency situation as weather dept has announced more rainfalls in coming days.

NDRF, TSR have been deployed on the spots.

Due to excessive flood river banks of Howarh is destroying and the number of flood victims are also increasing.

Cattle are the worst sufferers along with farmers, households.
