AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): A continuous rain has increased the water level in Tripura, especially in the Capital City Agartala.
The flood threat also has increased in various part of the state as the monsoon continues to shower on the state.
At Agartala Baldakhal area has gone to the worst condition.
Other Northeast states, especially Meghalaya’s condition has turned pathetic. The death toll in the devastating landslides triggered by heavy rains in Meghalaya has risen to seven, an official said on Sunday.
Torrential rains have triggered huge landslides in several parts of the region and damaged public property.
