AGARTALA, June 17 (TIWN): Traffic jam remained uncontrolled throughout the day in state's Capital City on Saturday.

Surprisingly, traffic police's presence were missing from every spots except one traffic police standing on each traffic posts.

On the other side, the traffic lights introduction remained unutilized. As a result chances of accident remain very high during the rainy weather as the traffic police do not work amidst heavy rain leading the jam to remain controlled across the day. 

Thus a 15 minutes journey had turned into 1 hour journey for the regular travelers due to the poor management led by Tripura Traffic Dept.
