AGARTALA, July 15 (TIWN): The ILS Staff Rajesh Kuri was sent for 2 days police remand on Thursday.
Following the complaint lodged in West police station on May-12 West police has nabbed the culprit who is no other than a staff inside the ILS working in the cash-dept. In a press conference West SP Abhijit Saptarshi told media here that a case was registered on June-12 complaining Rs. 14 lakhs 10 thousands were missing from the hospital's cash.
Police against the FIR lodged with Case No-48 / 17 has arrested one Rajesh Kuri from Kaowa Bon on Tuesday night, under Ranir Bazar, Agartala. The incident took place on June 11, whereas on Tuesday night the culprit was arrested, said SP West Abhijit Saptarshi in his byte at West Police station. In the press meet SP was accompanied by other police officials under West PS and NCC PS O/C Suraj Bhattacharjee.
However, the accused has sent for 2 days police remand.
