Kanchanpur, June 10 (TIWN): Improper management of road from Kanchanpur to Jalebasa is in pathetic condition over last few months and the department is in long yawning siesta. The condition of the road has worsened from earlier and is now in poor condition. The only road connectivity between Kanchanpur to Jalebasa has for a long time now remained in a dilapidated condition posing a threat to the helpless commuters. Traffic jam, accidents are happening regularly in the road due to its poor shape and allegedly, the condition of the road is worsening day-by-day due to negligence of PWD and the agencies assigned by the department. The condition of the road is in such a bad shape in some spots, it could be snapped at anytime; the source added.The condition of road has been gradually decreasing over the last few years.The potholes are very common. The road has been left completely neglected, and roads here have not been repaired for months despite repeated demands.
Daily passengers were encountering problems because of potholes.The road condition was remaining pathetic in the last one month,” said a bike rider. Vehicles caught in path holes roads are common during the rainy season as the PWD officer remain mute spectator to the woes of the people, said a truck driver on the road.
