AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): The hurdles faced by Union Govt in expanding Railway are two : one is lack of coaches another is lack of loco pilots, NFR GM H K Jaggi told media.
Indian Railway, the world's largest network (under a single management), consists of more than 100,000 Train Drivers/Assistant Drivers/Guards, which forms the basic functioning team, responsible for Train Operations. But with the demand for more train the loco pilots are proving as insufficient.
Apart from that lack of coaches are another major reason behind delaying of railways introduction, Jaggi added.
However, Tripura is now in demand of Rajdhani Express and more trains. Jaggi assured that more trains to be connected with this land including one project in discussion, which will connect Tripura with Southern India.
