Petrol shortage fuels tension in Tripura

AGARTALA / DHARMANAGAR, March 21 (TIWN): Tripura continues to suffer from acute petrol, diesel and LPG shortage following the All India Strike ofpetrol bearers / bullet drivers.
Officials have warned of possible shortage of essential commodities if the problem persists for another week.
The effect is seen in all the districts but at Dharmanagar there is no respite from petrol theft.
Lack of drivers is fueling the crisis, said a petrol pump dealer at Dharmanagar.
