KAILASHAHAR, Feb 7 (TIWN): Health service is one of the basic needs for a society, but in Tripura although poverty rate is on top, but its health service is very poor till day.
Before 4 years the Dist hospital at Kailashahar was inaugurated by CM Manik Sarkar, after the foundation stone was laid by the then Health Minister Tapan Chakraborty.Reportedly, for the sake of Super Special Health Service, at Bhagaban Nagar under Kailashahar Central Govt allocated Rs. 15 crores. But till day the Eye-Dept. is left handicapped there.
The Hospital till day failed to provide indoor eye service although at the same time other District Hospitals have launched the services.
To make the service better the 3rd floor is getting decorated but doubt remained about the hospital service’s any betterment there as PCC Chief Birjit Sinha has demanded for a Homeopathic College on that Hospital premise.
The local people of Kailashahar & other subdivisions are the main victim of it.
