AGARTALA, Nov 29 (TIWN): The newly elected MLAs will take oath at Assembly lobby on Monday.

From Barjala replacing Jiten Sarkar, Jhumu Sarkar has taken taken oath, whereas at khowai replacing MLA Samir Deb Sarkar Biswajit Dutta taken oath. 

Jiten Sarkar was a Congress MLA, who resigned from MLA post and joined CPI-M.

Samir Deb Sarkar passed away who was a CPI-M MLA.

 Then following the 2 vacant seats, the election was held on Nov 19 & the result was given on Nov 22, where CPI-M won both the seats.
