Agartala, Sept 28 (TIWN) Ruling CPI-M’s student wing Students Federation of India (SFI) has secured a land slides victory in the students’ council elections in all the 22 degree colleges in Tripura battering a humiliating defeat to the Congress’ student wing NSUI (National Students Union of India) candidates.
The SFI candidates have won all the 719 students’ council seats. The SFI nominees had bagged 612 seats uncontested earlier and elected in 107 seats, for which elections were held Saturday.
