TSSUS raised demands for labors

AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Tripura Sabha Sundar Unnoyan Samiti(TSSUS) raised demands for laundry workers on Sunday at MLA hostel, in the presence of Minister Ratan Bhowmik.
In a press representatives raised few demands as :
- To increase the beneficiary money for the laundry scheme workers upto atleast Rs. 25,000/,
- To construct market shed for the laundry workers,
- To provide each of their families with BPL cards,
- To provide their children with stipend,
- Landless workers should be provided by homes,
- To keep the vacancy in Govt posts,
- Fund for SC / ST welfare can not be decreased by the central govt.
- To give them old age allowance,
- State fund should be more increased by the central for various sectors,
- To stop tortures upon Dalits via Go-Raksha Committee.
