AGARTALA, Nov 10 (TIWN): EVM Commissioning begins ahead of upcoming bi-election, which is starting from Nov 19.

Engineers from Electronic Corporation of India Ltd to complete the process. At Agartala Umakanta School the practice is taking place.  

After the end of commissioning, a detailed report will be delivered by the Engineers about recent activities.

However, on Wednesday, the returning officer to Barjala constituency Samit Roy Chowdhury, who is also the SDM of Agartala inspected the arrangement for bi-poll and the security given in strong room at Agartala Umakanta Stadium.

 The bi-poll to be held on Nov 19 in Khowai and Barjala constituency.

EVM machines to be kept in that school, from where they will be circulated in other constituencies.

The strong room arrangement was quite satisfactory, whereas other arrangements as counting room is also in good shape, TIWN reported.
