AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Monday along with Educatgion Minister Tapan Chakraborty on Mondayfelicitated the first top ten toppers in Madhyamik and HS(+2) Examination for the academic year 2015-16 at Umakanta Academy.
The students were awarded with Tuhin smriti award and merit award at Umakanta Academy.
Srestha Deb, students of Sishu Bihar School topped the Madhyamik Examination conducted by TBSE board adding a golden feather to name of Sishu Bihar School.
Srestha Deb scoring 665 marks has secured the top position in this year in Madhyamik examination, followed by Anushka Sarkar, student of Sishu Bihar school has captured the second rank with 663 marks which is just 2 marks less than Sreshta Deb.
Subra Paul from Umakanta Academy has secured the third position with 662 marks. The fourth position is captured by Diptanu Dey, a student of Udaipur English medium school scoring 658 marks out of 700.
Pulak Majumder from Golden Valley HS (+2) school has scored 651 marks capturing the 5th position in the merit list.
The sixth position is again captured by a student of Sishu bihar school identified as Rohan Saha with a total of 650 marks out of 700.
The 7th position with a total of 648 marks is captured by triplets this year identified as Ananda Kamal Sur from Udaipur English Medium school,Purba Kar from Vivekananda Vidyapith HS, Sourav Majumder from Belonia Govt English Medium school.
With 647 marks the 8th position is captured by Baibhab Deb Chowdhury, student of Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan.
Sagarika majumder, a student of Ramkrishna Vidya Mandir has captured the ninth position with 646 marks out of 700.
Last but not the least; the 10 position is jointly captured by Saptarshi Bhattacharjee from Panisagaor Holy cross school and Debalina Majumder of Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan with 645 marks.
