AGARTALA, June 9 (TIWN): A programme was organized at Chnadra Mahal in the presence of Minister Naresh jamatia and Minister Aghore Debbarma to held discussion on Kokborok Language upgradation.

During the programme, the organizer—Puila Kok Malaimung Panda committee handed over 11 charter of demands to the Ministers:

1.     One time relaxation should be there in creating the post of Kokborok assistant professor in the colleges and University,

2.     204 (ST-149+S.C-55) sent for PGT of 2010 should be filled up as soon as possible,

3.     To create the post for regular teacher in all the school,

4.     Kokborok language should be included in 8^th schedule of India constitution,

5.     To open University under TTADC area,

6.     Kokborok medium school should be introduced,

7.     As the instructor experts in Kokborok, eminent writers would be engaged,

8.     Allotted seat for kokborok dept. should be increased up to 100,

9.     Kokborok certificate and Diploma course should continue,

10.  The Govt. of Tripura should focus and help in conducting kokborok seminar and workshop with best efforts,

11.  To introduce Kokborok honors subject in all colleges.
