UDAIPUR, May 28 (TIWN): One person namely Ajit Pal of DakBanglow Road area was killed in a road accident while returning from morning walk. Another person Ratan Chanda was injured in this accident. The accident took place near Brahmanari tri-junction under Radhakishorepur police station. The accident occurred at around 6.30am when a Mahindra Bollero coming from Matabari to Rajerbag struck both of them from behind.

According to eye witness the Bollero was running at great speed and immediately the driver went out of sight taking the vehicle. Being informed by the local people Fire Service men rushed to the spot and took both Ajit and Ratan to the Gomati District Hospital, where doctors declared Ajit Pal dead. 
     

 Hearing the news SP Goamti S Saraswati and SDPO Udaipur rushed to the spot with large number of police. But till10.30 am the police neither succeeded to arrest the killer vehicle nor identify the driver and even the vehicle could not be traced so far.
