AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN) : Powercut makes life miserable in scorching summer season, still TSECL MD claims ‘Loadshedding is a bygone era’. Frequent load-shedding is making life miserable here but power dept. claims state has no power cut problem.
A slight waves of wind damages loose power transmission lines, but govt. has stopped the underlying cable work.
Due to rain and thunder, power is coming and going in town areas too.
The problem of load-shedding is increasing with the summer season’s arrival. Life has already become intolerable here in Tripura for excessive heat, but surprisingly, the problem of power up-&-down has begun in full swing here.
Being a barren city ruled by CPI-M party since 2 decades, Agartala has no natural surrounding across the city, no systematic plantation which has made life suffocating already. In this situation power cut has turned life more miserable.
Whereas Agartala city is boosted to be the smart city, but in reality this city is reeling under load-shedding and suffering from power ups and down continuously.
Power disruption not only hampering daily lives but it affecting upon the basic necessities as water-supplying.
