AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): Central govt. plans to cover North East unfenced border with laser wall which will benefit Tripura too.
Reportedly, India Home Minister Rajnath Singh after BJP’s winning at Assam was asked by the newly elected CM Sonowal about the unfenced border issue, replying which the Rajnath Signh said that govt. is thinking to cover North East unfenced border with laser wall.
Bangladesh’s fully support is with India in this purpose, said Rajnath.
Laser wall however is a part of modern technology in fencing work, which not only protects the state, but helps to identify the enemies on the opposite side of the border.
A laser fence is a mechanism to detect objects passing the line of sight between the laser source and the detector. Stronger lasers can potentially be used to injure someone or something passing the laser beam.
Tripura which suffers from many border violences would be benefited with the laser wall on its Indo-Bangla border.
