AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): With impact of cyclone Roanu over, the heat wave returned to state with nine places recording temperature above 31 degrees Celsius on Monday.
However, after the long rainy days people since 2 days got relief from the wet weather.
The capital city recorded 31 degrees Celsius, it said, adding the heat wave would continue till next few days following delay in arrival of monsoon to the state but some places may experience rain and thundersquall in next 24 hours, said the MET department.
But business are back to its previous setting across the capital city.
It’s worthy to mention here that businessmen with fruits and vegetables, hawkers have come back to road again to sell items. Rickshaw, vehicles drivers are back on the road.
The sky is still cloudy and chances of rain remains high here.
