KAILASHAHAR, May 14 (TIWN): Seasonal cyclonic rains and thunder storms disrupted power supply at Kailshar. According to the official sources, rain caused damages to many houses, business shops, and agricultural land also.

It is to be mentioned few people were seriously injured in different parts of Tripura due to lightning, accompanied by heavy rains.

Incessant rainfall hit Kailashar area soon along with hailstorm. Particularly in Kalishar ward No 15.There are many electric post were uprooted and hanging here and there. After several times complaints the electric department shows no response.

Speaking to TIWN correspondent, official of metrological department said that Tripura will be hit with squally wind. However the rain is expected to be accompanied by thunder storm and lightening.
