KAMALPUR, May 14 (TIWN): The most recent memo issued by SSA Rajya Mission bearing number F.11 (8-18 B)-SE/SSA/2012/2122- 31 dated 09/05/2016 created dilemma among the non-teaching staffs of the SSA throughout the state. The organization of the non-teaching SSA staffs remained numbed up in the issue.
In the memorandum, the Rajya Mission authority decided that “all non-teaching/managerial staff of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Programme who have recently been recruited/to be recruited in future as well as those who have recently completed 5 years/ will complete 5 years of continuous service in future shall be paid remuneration at the initial rate/stage with no provision of 6 th and 5 th booster amounts respectively.”
Now, the staffs who already got those boosters their condition got also stated in the said memorandum. The memorandum stated “This shall however not be applicable for those managerial/ non-teaching staff who have already been granted/paid/being paid rates of remuneration with provision of boosters vide this office Memo no. F.11 (8-18A)- SE/SSA/2016(L) dated 31 ST May, 2011 and No. F.11 (21-5)- SE/SSA/2014(L) dated 11 th September, 2015 till arriving at a rational decision by the Executive Committee/Governing Body.”
Now, the non-teaching staffs got in dilemma as in their Rules of Pay or ROP there remained no mention of booster and hence the memorandum turned meaningless to them.
Further, the organization of the SSA staffs which completely turned to be the most loyal organization of the ruling party remained numbed up in the issue. Hence the fate of the non-teaching staffs and their future came under question as well the implementation of the memorandum.
