AGARTALA, May 13 (TIWN) : With the continuous rain and wind the power cut is going on in full wave in Agartala city.
However, reportedly, in other subdivisions the situation has been worsen. According to the reports in many places, from the first day of rain power cut has become very frequent.
In ADC areas the scenario is pathetic. Once the power is gone after rain generally power doesn’t come back for many days. This happens due to the poor connectivity coverage at those places.
Reportedly, in many areas common people are suffering badly especially after evening, and the students of those places are frequently facing from load-shedding problems due to the poor connections of electrical lines.
For example Poang Bari at Manughat, Marichara under South Tripura, Atharobla at Killa, under Gomati District, korbook under Gomati Dist., and Rupaichari and other backward places at Tripura are the common endure of such problems.
According to the report, once the power is gone due to some slight rain and thunders, it takes atleast 2-3 days to recover. The power dept. workers come and repair the lines temporarily, but again with the hit of waves the power goes away.
However, whereas many of the ADC villages are suffering from power cut since 2 days, cities like Agartala are suffering from continuous ups and downs of power.
