AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): JICA review mission visited JICA Research Station at Anandanagar nearly 13 KM from Agartala JICA members of Review Mission, DCF Research, Director NCE and CEO, JICA Project of Tripura were also among in the Join Visit program. The Research Station was started in September 2009 as a part of Tripura JICA Project. The major components of the Research Station are:
1. Bambu setum 2. Cane Arboretum 3. Clonal Propagation Centre 4. Meteorological Station 5. Propagation Nursery 6. Experimental Plantations
They visited JICA Research center to study the details for the survey a top official said. The project is expected to start soon and will enhance development in northeastern states, described by team "most neglected region”.
