KAMALPUR, May 8 (TIWN): The poor service and negligent service by the doctors and other health staffs turned the Jamthum Primary Health Centre into a den of problem.

For months together, the PHC got turned into a centre of irresponsibility. Often, the doctors and other staffs found absent from the PHC. The ailing patients had to return from the Centre without result.

As a result, the irritated villagers today gathered in the PHC. They met in deputation with the doctor and demanded the rectification of the system.

The authority assured them within shortly. The villagers demanded that if the service not restored shortly than they would launch vigorous protest campaign against it.
