AGARTALA, May 8 (TIWN): As flight fare is not fixed in India, so Air-line companies are used to loot the passengers with high charged flight fares for a half & hour distance.

However, with the railway service has begun in full swing in state, so the public here expecting for the flight fare to be reduced so far.

Tripura Transport Minister Manik Dey asked the central govt. to fix the flight fare, but as the airline business companies are here  with earlier set policies, so the govt. said it will need time to re-set it.

Due to Tripura’s NH-44’s dangerous shape and increasing number of accidents, public chosed to go via flight as rail service was not till day.

But now the demand of flight is reducing.

NE state Tripura’s regular passenger service has proven almost as a  blessing to the state, as on the first day of passenger train, people thronged to Agartala railway station to travel outside the state.

It can be said that Modi Govt.’s Look East policy is really benefiting the public here.
