AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): The city on Thursday recorded its hottest day, with the maximum temperature touching 37-degrees celsius.
Reportedly, state Tripura is reeling under excessive heat with 37 degree temperature on Thursday.
Adding to the woes of heat-ravaged the public here suffering from, frequent power cuts across the city aggravated the situation and made life miserable.
Many areas at Agartala on was under power cut since morning. The other subdivisions are the worst sufferer.
However it’s to be mentioned here that Tripura undergoing enormous power crisis since last few days due to ‘Unknown’ reasons, affecting the daily lives of the people here.
This also causing water crisis statewide.
From North Tripura to South Tripura every Districts are suffering from frequent power disruption.
There is no relief likely from the heat wave even on Friday as similar weather conditions will continue, according to the environmentalists.
