AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): State observes solar eclipse on Wednesday. Numbers of people were observed crowded sin front of the Sukanta Academy to observe the partial solar eclipse.
It is to be mentioned here that on this day the day turns to night when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow over the Earth.

Besides, it has been mentioned that the maximum duration of the solar eclipse will continue for one hour.
According to the reports, the solar eclipse was started at 4.49 minute and ended by 10.05 minute.
The last time the partial solar eclipse was occurred in the year 2011.
It is to be mentioned here that the last solar eclipse of such significance was seen on August 11 in the year 1999, when almost 100 percent of the sun was covered.
