AGARTALA, Dec 27 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, body of 89-year old ex-Speaker of Tripura Assembly was found hanging in his resident on Sunday at Sabroom.
Getting alarm about the incident, South police rushed to the spot and initiated the investigation.
Talking to TIWN correspondent, SP South Bhanupada Chakraborty on Sunday said that the body of Sunil Choudhury was found hanging on the entrance of his house.
Mentioning about the incident, he further said that a suicide note has been found in the pocket of the deceased.
Further mentioning about the note he said that in suicide in has been written that he has committed suicide to get rid of the prolonged sufferance from illness.
The body has been taken for post mortem and investigation is going on.
Reportedly, 89-year old deceased Sunil Choudhury was three times MLA of Sabroom Sub Division and also ex-Speaker of Tripura Assembly.
He left his one son and five daughters behind.
However, tension prevails with the sudden death of the ex-Speaker of Tripura Assembly in the area. Besides, he was suffering from prolonged serious illness.
Reportedly, the family members have no complain regarding anyone but the sudden mysterious death raised question among the peoples. Further investigation is going on.
