KAMALPUR, Dec 24 (TIWN): The tradition of occasional crisis and black-marketing continued the sole filling station of the sub-division. Like its long and cherished practice, the Annapurna Filling Station once again hanged the “No Petrol†board as the fuel price got deducted.
Recently, the Union Petroleum Ministry and fuel companies announced the deduction in the price of petrol throughout the country. Regarding it, the price of the fuel got decreased. But the inhabitants and vehicle owners of this sub-division failed to enjoy the benefit at the instant of the announcement. And it resulted as the filling station authority hanged the “No Petrol” board. The vehicle owners used to ply to the station for filling fuels. But they had to come back without getting it.
Whenever the authority or the employees got asked about the issue, they had the same answer of not having the deducted fuel yet. Moreover, they assured that, the deducted fuel would reach shortly. But, the local people claimed that, the filling station authority continued their black-marketing of fuel. Interestingly, after the occurrence of the same incident time and again, the administration never found to reach the root of the problem or to remedy it.
