AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): Doctors' missing in every PHC/CHC/Sub Divisional Hospital/District Hospital and even hospital like GB Hospital has hit the health service in Tripura.
Hospitals are lacking basic infrastructures too. People say doctors take the second position after God and should keep faith on doctors like we keep faith on God. But the duty of a section of doctors here in our state Tripura figures out the real fact and the sufferings of the patients.
According to data available with the state health directorate, 1,782 patients went to Calcutta, Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai for treatment last year. Inefficient treatment at government hospitals has also become a major source of concern. Moreover many good doctors are leaving state for better facility.
