AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): All India DSO Tripura state committee has raised their voice against the present national educational system. They have placed a deputation to the Director of School Education Department on Tuesday.
The state committee was lead by the Secretary Mridul Kanti Sarkar. Accoring to them, like the others states of our country ruled by INC & BJP government in our state the CPI-M government gave up the pass-fail vogue. As a result, the standard of study in our state has got conspicuous at the bottom.
It's to be mentioned here that in the state above 80% of students study in class 6-8 who can’t read Bengali properly, and reading English is a far away thing to do.
The committee said that the state government needs to restart the pass-fail mode as early as possible in the state to maintain the basic quality of study. They also mentioned that in the ADC area the numbers of teachers are very less comparing the numbers of students. As a result the quality of study in this state is going down day by day.
