AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): To encourage the brilliant students of Tripura, like every year this year too Arka-Scholarship award has been given to the selected students at Agartala Press Club with the hands of Tapan Chakraborty, Minister for Industry & Commerce.

 This award is given to the 11^th class students for their outstanding performance in the Arka Scholarship Examination conducted by ARKANEER every year.

Students scoring 75 % marks in the Madhyamik Examination are eligible to sit for the examination. At present 10 scholarships are given to some meritorious school students of Tripura through a competitive examination every year.

Each student will get scholarship money amounting to Rs. 400 /- per month. The duration of the scholarship is 17 months.

Arka-scholarship 2015 achievers are: Abhishek Roy, Debadrita Chakraborty, Sreejan Roy, Anubrata Nath, Nabajyoti Majumar, Sayantan Datta, Nilanjan Das, Abhijit Kar, Apurba Debnath & Debistuli Saha.
