KAMALPUR, Dec 14 (TIWN): Once again the happy days have come in the horizon for the corrupted officials of PWD (WR) division of Kamalpur. And it became so, as the huge allocation of crores of rupees has sanctioned under MGNREGA for this division. The allocation after a gap of two financial years naturally made the implementing officers happy.

According to the sources of the division, after extensive coverage of random embezzlement of MGNREGA funds in this division, the authority not sanctioned a single paisa under MGNREGA in 2013-14 and 2014-15 fiscals. As a result the implementing officers and engineers became hopeless. Again the deprivation in allocation also made the leaders and cadres unhappy as they lost chances to pocket huge money. 

But the scenario changed completely, as the division got allocation under MGNREGA scheme in this fiscal. According to a top brass from the office of the Superintending Engineer, almost crores of rupees got allocated this time. And due to this, the engineers and officials got busy in calculating their shares from this fund. Besides, the new methods of embezzlement also got planned and prepared to embezzle money. However, in this era of golden rule, who would bother to look into such issues, remained the question.
