AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): In order to ensure peaceful and systematic civic poll, polling personnel were provided raining for the counting of votes at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.
Reportedly, altogether 53 counting supervisor and 53 counting assistant have participated at the training hour.
The polling personnel were provided training by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manik Lal Das and returning officers of ward number 1 to 19 of the Municipal area.
Besides, the returning officers of Municipal Corporation of ward number 35 to 49 were also present at the programme.
It is to be mentioned here that the counting of vote will be initiated on December 12 at around 8 am in the morning.
Besides, it has mentioned that altogether 3 counting centres will be set up at Umakanta academy for the counting of all the 49 wards.
Besides, for the counting of Santirbazaar Municipal Council election the polling personnel were trained at Santirbazaar SDM office conference hall.
Altogether 16 counting supervisor and 16 Counting assistant and other related officials were provided training.
Sub-Divisional returning officer Rajesh Das and others has provided training to them.
It has been informed that on December 12 the counting will start at 8 am at the SDM office on 13 counting table.
It is to be mentioned here that almost all the political parties here in Tripura have geared up for the upcoming Municipal election which is scheduled to be held on December 9.
It is to be mentioned here that counting of votes for 5 lakhs, 37 thousand, and 986 voters would take place on December 12. Among them 2 lakhs, 69 thousands and 214 are male voters and 2 lakhs, 68 thousands and 754 are female voters.
The final photo voter lists for the ensuing Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), 13 Municipal Councils and 6 Nagar Panchayats is announced by state election department.
