UDAIPUR, Dec 5 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, altogether 11 shops and a vehicle have been gutted in fire on Friday early morning at Rajarbag area under R. K Pur police station.
Reportedly, massive fire broke in the area and gutted 11 shops and a vehicle early in the morning on Friday.
According to the police reports, among the eleven shops seven were totally gutted in fire. Reportedly, the loss is estimated is around Rs. 4 lakh.
As many as seven shops were reduced to ashes in a fire that broke out early in the morning. Locals informed the fire service, rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
According to the sources report, it has been mentioned that along with the shops a vehicle bearing registration number TR01-L-0785 has been burned to ashes.
The vehicle owner Bikash Dey said that he is totally unaware that who can be behind the incident.
Getting alarm about the incident counsellor Srikanta Datta, MLA Pranajit Singha Roy of R. K Pur rushed to the spot.
Police is yet to confirm the reason behind the massive fire. However, police id further investigating the case.
The incident has left worry among the locals of the area. So far no injury has been reported of any person.
