AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Thursday inaugurated the new campus of Holy Cross College at Lembuchera in presence of college Principal Fr. Emmanual Kallarackal.
Sarkar appreciated the college for its excellence in service of education for the last 6 years, but was apprehensive that it is inaccessible to the poor section of the people of the state.
Sarkar urged the College Principal to also cater the needs of the poor students who are unable to afford high fees. He also invited the students of Holy Cross College students to be more transparent and truthful.
At the meantime College Principal Fr. Emmanuel Kallarackal adressing his speech on the occasion on Thursday urged the state government to provide assistance for the forward movement of the college.
Principal also emphasized on the motto of the college and said that the college provides holistic education for human enhancement.
