AGARTALA, July 10 (TIWN): Raising voice against the silent role of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar over the incident when on Mondaymorning some RSS supporters were conducting Yoga, the CPI-M MLA along with other CPI-M supporters had attacked two of the RSS activists, RSS to stage protest rally on Saturday at Agartala.
The rally to start from Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan and will move across several parts of the city.
Concerning this incident the Rashtriya Swayam Sebak (RSS) on Monday accused the East Nalchar CPI-M MLA Tapan Chandra Das for attacking two of their activists.
The RSS activist Nripen Chandra Roy talking to the reporters here at Bishwa Hindu Parishad said that they have lodged a police complaint against the accused MLA but so far no action.
He further said that they have also informed the issue to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar but no action is taken so far.
Reportedly, the police were being informed. The RSS then following the incident had lodged an FIR with the Melagarh PS, said Roy.
Besides, the CPI-M MLA intentionally arranged two women and asked them to report the police that they had come here acting on behest of the RSS for girls trafficking business, claimed Roy.
He also claimed that the two women who were seen in front of the police station on Monday morning who later confessed that the CPI-M MLA Tapan Chandra Roy had asked them to make a false statement in police station.
The RSS activists however, sought justice to the misdeeds of the CPI-M MLA and urged the police to take necessary actions against the MLA and others involved to the incident.
