BELONIA, July 7 (TIWN): On the 115th birthday of Shyama Prashad Mukharjee, the founder of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), South Tripura BJP has inaugurated the Party Office of BJP South Dist. on July 6, afternoon at near Kalinagar, near Belonia Townhall.

The inauguration of the office has been done by Parikshit Debbarma, General Secretary BJP, South Tripura.  Party’s Flag hoisting was done by Narayan Das, South District president and other dignitaries as Jodu Gopal Dutta, Nikhil Gope along with other BJP members were presented during the programme and delivered their valuable speeches.

But the most interesting part of the whole ceremony was that the Dist. Party office has been inaugurated in the residence of  Dilip Chowdhury who is a leading member of Congress and also was an MLA (1993-1998), which has spread a tension among the congress of South Dist. 

However, while talking to TIWN, BJP members greeted their plea on this ceremony and said that they are now hopeful that BJP would spread its wings in South Dist. Too.
