KAMALPUR, July 5 (TIWN): The hyperactivity of police became a matter of concern for the peace-loving and innocent people of commoners. Especially, the cases under Motor Vehicles Act became the main field of public harassment. And the police remained happy and indifferent to continue with their job.
In such an incident of harassment, a handicapped Group D employee of PWD (R&B) Division became a target for police to serve vehicle case summons. That employee namely Tupan Namasudra of Bamanchara area had lost his right hand long ago. And he had no two wheeler or any other personal motorized vehicles. Still he was summoned under motor vehicle act against a motorbike numberTR-04-8187 almost a month ago.
He became present in the Lok Adalat and raised the matter in front of the judge. The judge gave him exemption after realizing the true fact. But the police did not bother about the ground reality. And mysteriously enough, he was once again served a summon under the same Motor vehicle Act. What a police administration the state has!
