AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): Urging to complete the different undergoing projects of Golaghati Martyr Memorial in Bhoktothakur Para of Dayaram Para ADC village under Jampuijala Sub-division within the current financial year, recently Information and Cultural Minister Bhanulal Saha in a meet at Anganwadi centre of Bhoktothakur Para asked the concern department to keep a regular follow up of the work progress.

After reviewing the work-progress of different memory monuments in the concern area, Minister Saha asked to complete the work within the current financial year and also asked the District Magistrate of the concern area to visit the area to supervise the work progress.

He also urged the concern Departments to work in a balance way as the area has been undergoing different project works.

During the meet, it has been mentioned that the concern project of Golaghati Martyr Memorial has been taken in the memory of the farmers of Golaghati Bhoktothakur Para who have lost their lives during the food protest against the lender.

Altogether 13 different projects were being undergoing in the area. The projects includes a community of hall of 300 seats, a market, an Information centre, watch tower, three view point, rest house and three cottage and many others, informed Engineer of Rural Development Department.

During the meet it has been decided that from earlier the decided point the community hall will be shifted near High School and the view point will be shifted near the Golaghati Takarjala.

Variety of saplings will be planted in the surroundings of the Martyr Memorial hall.

During the meet, ADC and Jampuijala BAC Chairman Ramendra Debbarma, MDC Mayarani Debbarma, Secretary of Information and Cultural Department Santanu Das, District Magistrate of Sepahijala Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Director of Information and Cultural Department Santanu Debbarma, Director of Information and Cultural Department under Sepahijala District Chandan Sarkar along with others were present at the programme.
