AGARTALA, April 26 (TIWN): Severe thunder storms with squall would occur at isolated places over Tripura and other North Eastern States, said Metrological forecast on Saturday. The forecast warned for thunder storm with the average speed of 50 KM per hour across Tripura accompanied by heavy shower.

The met officials argued that a fresh western disturbance as an upper air system would affect in Himalayan region till May 1 and will cause rain and thunder storm in the region.

The upper air circulation over NE including Tripura has extended up to 0.9 KM above sea level.
