Agartala, April 20 (TIWN):Even after 13 days police failed to detain a single person whose name was mentioned in the FIR field by the National Health Mission Director at Kailasahar police station. According to report investigating officer took the statement of Sanjeev Mahatame, mission director and seized documents from CMO office of NHM branch.
The investigating officer declined to comment regarding the progress of investigation. Seeing the progress it became clear to common man that like other corruption cases this one will also get covered up. All the accused will be let free. It is alleged that at CMO office a section staff are working late night to make adjustment of multi crore adjustment led by Dr. Subhas Burua and Dr Indrajit Das.
It is mentionable here that the state government ordered inquiry into fourth multi crore rupees corruption in the state, unearthed recently by state audit department. The audit report, made available showed in past years, Government of India had sanctioned Rs 33 Cr under NHM, but adjustment of only Rs 6 Cr was found available and rest of the amount had no proper accounts and entryAs advised by the government, I have lodged an FIR against 17 medical officers in Kailashahar police station.The accused medical officers are engaged in different hospitals of the district. The fund was given for procuring medicines, implementing various schemes under NHM in the district and construction works in rural hospitals.
