Udaipur,8 April (TIWN): Udaipur celebrated ‘World Health Day’ on Tuesday at Rajarshi Kalakshetra, organized by Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The theme of World Health day 2015 was “Food safetyâ€.
Badal Chowdhury (Ministry of Health and family Welfare), Ratan Bhowmik (Ministry of Tourism) and other dignitaries as Dr. Anjan Lal Dutta, Dr. Pradip Bhowmik (Hepatitis B Foundation Rajya Sabhadipati) Dr. Kanu Lal Bhowmik were presented and illuminated the programme. Students from various schools got together at Rajarshi Kalakshetra to celebrate World health Day, 2015 after following a rally.
It is to be mentioned here that WHO (World Health Organization) has been brought out the theme of “Food Safety” on the name of ‘World Health Day’ under the slogan “From farm to plate, make food safe” challenging the food borne diseases.

On that occasion Dr Anjan Lal Dutta addressing the students said in his valuable speech “ If food Safety is today’s theme our future generation would take its first step to bring out the real meaning of it.” Other dignitaries also said why it is important to maintain the purity of the food and also described about heterogeneous food borne diseases.
