AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Health Department of Tripura has launched a health call centre in the state in order to provide service for 24X7 in order to provide service to people facing problems and doubts regarding health issues.
Health Secretary M. Nagaraju said that keeping the problems of people in the knowledge, the health department would launch a call centre in the state very soon.
This call centre would give services to the people suffering from health related issues and this is termed as “Health Counseling”.
Nagaraju further said that a ‘Grievance Cell’ would be introduced in the state of Tripura to knoiw about the public grievances regarding the doctors, nurses, hospital related issues and medicines. This call centre and ‘Grievance Cell’ would be introduced in the state of Tripura within this financial year 2015-16, he added.
He also said that, state health department has taken an initiative to start Ambulance service for Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Tripura and GPS tracker would be installed in these vehicles.
According to the statics Tripura is having the highest percentage of immunization in the country with 93 percent till February 2015. The state department has also targeted to reach 100 percent immunization of children within this year.
